Thank you for choosing to register with Northview Little League for the 2023 regular baseball and softball seasons.

Little League Baseball has begun a phase-in of a league-age eligibility date change for baseball only beginning in the 2015 season. Boy's baseball players league will use Aug. 31 as the league-age date. This change does not affect softball players and Girl's T Ball players. A detailed description of this change and league-age charts can be found in the Documents section (left vertical menu) of the league home page.

A change in state law, which took effect in July 2013, requires every parent and player to receive state-provided information regarding concussions in youth sports, requires all coaches to have received online training prior to coaching this upcoming season, and requires a player who has been removed from play due to suspicion of a head injury to be cleared to play by a medical professional before resuming practice or game activities. All registrants will be required to acknowledge their receipt of these materials. You may have already seen this information during Fall or Winter sports. If you have not, the document that requires acknowledgment is available here
and is always available in English and Spanish on the Documents page (left-side vertical menu) on the home page. Links to the state website regarding this change are available on the home page Club News item about this law.

A change in eligibility rules for little league participation happened in the 2014 season. Every player who lives in the Northview district and every player who attends the Northview Schools are eligible to play in Northview Little League. If you do not live in the school-district boundaries, but attend Northview Schools as a School of Choice, please use the address of the school your player attends as the home address on the registration. The building addresses are as follows:

  • Crossroads Middle School, 4400 Ambrose NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525,

  • North Oakview Elementary, 4300 Costa NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525,
  • West Oakview Elementary, 3880 Stuyvesant NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525.

  • Minor I is league age 7-8.
