Important Dates for the upcoming 2022 Spring Season


March 8th and 10th - Evaluations for Minors 2 and Majors Baseball

  • Held at Highlands Middle School Gym

  • 5:30p - 6:45p

  • Drop In. No appointment needed

March 14th Draft for Minors 2 and Majors Baseball

  • In person draft. 

  • Held at Northview High School. 

  • Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches only

  • Time: TBD

Week of March 21st - Fields open for upper levels of baseball and softball to start practicing.

Week of April 11th - Fields open to all age groups to start practice (Does not include T-Ball)

April 16th - Field Clean-up Day

  • DW Richardson Park clean up day. Starts at 9 am, weather permitting. Email to be sent out after registration closes.

April 23rd - Opening Day for all Divisions minus T-Ball

April 25th - Practices Start for T-Ball 

May 6th - Picture Day

  • Held at Higlands Middle School Gym. 

  • Schedule to be sent out to coaches with assigned time slot. 

May 9th - T-Ball Season Starts

June 4th - Closing Day

Umpires Wanted



Northview Little League is seeking both youth and adult umpires to join us on the field during the 2022 Spring Season.

If you are 13 or older, enjoy baseball or softball, and want to have a great time while supporting young athletes, we want to hear from you.

Umpires are needed at the Minors and Majors levels and umpires will earn a per game fee for each game worked. We are currently working to schedule an umpire training clinic and will have more details in the near future.

State Concussion Law

The State of Michigan has passed a law that requires all players and parents to acknowledge their receipt of state provided information before the player can participate in youth sports.

The form that must be received can be found at this link, which is also available in the Documents tab of the home page.

All coaches will have to submit their certificate to prove they have taken and passed the new state mandated concussion training course before they can coach a team. The training consists of internet video training topics with questions following each topic and at the end of the session. The training takes about half an hour. The link to the training course is:

Any player removed from play due to suspicion of concussion will have to have the following form filled out ba an appropriate medical professional and submitted to the league/team coach before the player can continue play.
